The challenge
The PNE runs two prominent fund-raising lotteries each year, which require PCI compliance. In order to achieve this compliance, they needed strong new defences to deflect and log attack attempts. The entire environment must be highly available and able to process over 10,000 concurrent requests.
Solutions
IONICA built and implemented powerful new web application firewall and intrusion detection systems. We also implemented centralised, web-based log aggregation and visualisation to display all requests to, and security events on, the lottery application.
